Heraeus stands for quality.

The compliance of quality standards worldwide is a fundamental condition of retaining our good reputation.
Our management system geared towards continual improvement of our performance assures quality. The stakeholders’ (i.e. customers, suppliers, employees, society) interests are considered in this way. In our Business Unit Heraeus stands for Quality. Notably in the Refining of precious metals.

In our Business Unit Chemical Products we have implemented Standard EN ISO 9001:2000, which is process oriented and the basis for a comprehensive quality management system.

The effective quality management system helps the Business Unit Chemical Products to improve its potential. It is the perfect way to optimize the organization to meet the customers’ future requirements.
For many years the system has been certified by TÜV Süd Management Service GmbH in accordance with EN ISO 9001:2000. Also environmental protection is a focus of our activities: In 2009 we are planning the certification of our Environmetal Management System in accordance with ISO 14001:2004.
